Initially set to be mostly indoors for cost-saving, his team proved they could build detailed exteriors within budget. This led producers to move much of the series outdoors, enhancing its scale and showcasing our work on recreating 18th-century London.

Dominic's career in film and TV began as a camera technician, leading to work as a Steadicam assistant on videos for Sinéad O'Connor, Oasis, and Five. This evolved into a role as Director of Photography for award-winning short films and on music videos for various bands., and as a gaffer for music videos for musicians like All Saints, Peter Andre, Sting, and Oasis.

Dominic also worked as a screenplay analyst for Fineline Pictures and Newline Cinema, wrote for the as-yet-unfilmed "Blake's 7" mini-series, and produced and directed its radio plays. His experience includes being an executive producer and line producer for a feature - currently in post-production - with Ronald Pickup and Ian McKellen. This journey has given him an all-encompassing knowledge of filmmaking, enhancing his ability to work effectively with different departments.
His skills in budget management have been a constant throughout his career and are integral to his approach, ensuring that every project he undertakes is both creatively fulfilling and fiscally responsible.
