Bitter Harvest

"Bitter Harvest" (2017), directed by George Mendeluk, dramatizes the Holodomor, the 1930s famine-genocide in Soviet Ukraine, through a love story. As Standby Art Director for reshoots and pickups, I helped enhance its historical authenticity and emotional impact. The film combines romance with stark historical realities, offering a moving portrayal of resilience against oppression.
